Not a good reference
Some good info but many errors. example mint has the catnip description (it even says the Latin name for catnip instead of mint). I could go through and send the creator corrections to update but no way to contact them. So far the quick listing of recommended hers for an ailment is good, just dont use the descriptions as a reliable reference.
Wow, vague much?
This app has a list of conditions with a few herbs listed under each one. Anything that in any way effects the female reproductive system is just described as "used by women for menstrual cycle". Um, what does it do? Ease physical symptoms? Lengthen or shorten cycle? Does if effect hormone production? Worthless.
Medical Missionary
Not bad for the price. Missing some major illness that are quite popular such as diabetes and cancer. Diabetes could be found under, lowering blood sugar, but most people will be looking for the disease itself. Also, the herbs does not tell you how to apply them to the specific illness, how much and how often to use and which form it should be used in. Should it be tea, should it be eaten raw, should it be juiced. Then again the price is $1.99. It does give useful information about the herbs and the the diseases. They just dont mesh together well. If I go under diabetes and see basil, Im not only looking for general information about basil, I want to know how to use it to help a diabetic.
Very useful
This is a very useful product that I will keep all time with me. I love the product although I do like to see more changes and improvements for customer use. I would like to save my favorite plants and also add notes to each one of them. I hope to see the graphics more sleek and professional. Overall the new product is really good and I just wish to see more improvement on the design and source of information and custom use. Would be great to also change the cover when you open the app. Makes me feel kind of basic... Overall I like the product.
